Volunteering With Food And Friends and GLOE

Bet Mishpachah has joined GLOE (Gay & Lesbian Outreach and Engagement) and The Morris Cafritz Center for Community Service (MCCCS) for a once-a-month volunteer event at Food and Friends.

You will help prepare fresh meals for individuals living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses.  Food and Friends is located at 219 Riggs Road, NE, just a few blocks from the Fort Totten Metro Station

About Food and Friends

Food & Friends is the only organization in the Washington DC area providing specialized, nutritious meals, groceries, nutrition counseling and friendship to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses. Food & Friends cooks, bags and deliversfreshly prepared meals and groceries 6 days a week, 52 weeks a year, and has provided more than 9.75 million meals to more than 15,000 individuals since its inception. Your help will have a direct impact on the lives of men, women, and children living with terrible illnesses in the Washington, DC area.
